alright so ifyou had to pick between a stock 1990 lx or a 1993 lx which one would be better and for what reasons. ruling out the condition of them jsut based on the specs of each which year is better? and they are completely stock and both 5 spds

 

well the 90 would have forged pistons whereas the 93 wouldnt...so if you had boost in mind thats something to think about.

 

The 92/93 have painted body trim, instead of the black trim.

 

I love my 93 because it is the end of an era But the Hyperteuctic pistons are definitely a downfall....

all the way up till 92 were forged..the 93s are whenthey started the hyper pistons..

 

lol, yeah, all the FI 5.0's were forged til 93. i'd get the 90. no airbag in the steering wheel so you have tilt and you can change it to a better looking one very easily...but if you think u might need an airbag, get the 93
