motor advice...
I'm new to the forum but I was running out of places to look for help. Friday afternoon my boyfriend threw a rod, and now we're looking for a new block for his engine. He has all the bolt ons that he could probably need. Where can we find him his prize motor? He wants something with enough power to make him feel good, but this 93 5.0 LX is his daily driver, so the engine does need to conventional. Not to mention, I'm not trying to let himbreak the banktoo much either. I know that these forums are just filled with people who know a ton andsomeone can telluswhere to find what we're looking for. Thanks guys....

RE: motor advice...
Depends on what his prize motor is. If he's wanting something aftermarket, with all the big power goodies,be prepared to open up the wallet. If he's wanting something reliable, and fairly quick, I can hook you guys up with the motor that just came out of my car, intake to oil pan, great running 302, forged factory internals, with a b303 cam, heavily ported e7 heads w/brand new trick flow valve springs and FMS 1.6 roller rockers, and a GT-40 intake for $900 or so. Where are you located?
