Quick Tire Question
i'm looking at these Boyd Coddington rims for my fox (if i dont sell it) to get this summer :

the widest they make it in 17's is 17x8...say i get a 275/40/17 for the rear...will i have the sidewall "bubble" over? i don't want that to happen..i want the "clean" straight look for it..if not, im assuming a 265/40/17 is the widest i can go?
PS - any photshopers i have a thread in the chop shop for a little help

You can put a 275 on an 8" rim. The bulge will be very minimal. It will look fine

i think with a rim like the draglite, the bubble looks bad ***...but with a "show" rim like this, it would look bad..but, then again, it will only be a 40 sidewall instead of the 50 in that picture, so it will be much less
