91lx and 86 gt parts
hay whats up guys a and gals i have a 86 mustang gt and i am trying to fix it up and i found a guy that has some 91lx doors will thay fit my 86 and i have non power doors but the lx has power so how would i go about hooking up the power .and i am also getting the interer from this guy will that work to dash and all

i dont know if the connections are there or not?
but why not just swap over the internals on the doors? also the trim on the belt line is different
the interior will work with some mods, not all the mounting tabs etc are the same for the dash
personally id keep the 86 interior it looks better imho, plus the area around the steering wheel is gonna look funky unless you swap the 91 column and it doesnt have a tilt wheel[:'(]

ya i bought the hole 91lx so the belt line molding i am not worred about and the reson i was swaping the intr is i was swaping doors and it has a gray door panel and i have red int[:'(]so i was just going to swap it

you like your red every one around me with a mustang swaps out the red for black or gray hay i could be diff and keep my red and just swap every thing els but then i have the door power windo thing i dont now how to swap out the power windos for non power hack i cant even speel right lol any idealls

i like the red ok, my car was white, but i painted the outside red. i like it better that way.
as for swapping all the part you just unbolt the regulator etc pull it out then do the same to the electical window stuff and swap it over do one door at a time shouldn't be to hard
maybe start one door give it a go if you dont think you can do it put it back in reverse of how you removed it.
as for using the power stuff you could always just run yourself some wires should have one ground and 2 hot wires on for each side of the switch since on piwers it up and one side powers it down

ya thats what i was thinking about the power windows and i was also thinking that i could still swap the doors and just buy some intr paint and paint the door panles reed to go with the reast of the car what do you think about that i have never tryed it but whats the worst that could happen

can use paint you will have to have interior dye on the soft parts like the door panels. www.50resto.com carries it
