well, lift off, you cant use any hinges, you need 4 hood pin mounting points, and despite the fact that the hoods are light, you'll need a buddy to take it off, and unless you have a small masterlock, you risk getting it stolen

Eh, everything at cervinis is expensive, cowls cost about the same. Besides with a heat extractor you get both heat disipation and more engine clearance.
cowls do the same thing.
Really? Didn't know cowls reduced heat under the hood, I just thought they werefor clearance, surely they don't cool it down as much as a heat extractor?

The cowl is the highest pressure area at highway speed that there is. This is why cowl induction was popular in the late 60's and 70's. NASCAR still draws it's air for the air cleaner from the cowl.
Anytime that you raise the rear of the hood and it has an opening, it will extract heat. The heat extracter hood just does to the radiator and doesn't do much for the heat off of the engine itself. Mainly designed for power adder cars with a heat exhanger to help draw heat out of the compressed air.

Heat extractor FTW!

I love my stormin norman hood, except the fact... it gets my engine bay really really dirty.

Everything goes in those vents. i drove through some sprinkling the other day after i detailed my engine bay, now i can't even tell..

Plus i like the looks of the 03-04 termi look hood.

And i think they look sick

Just my .02

I like the Stormin Normin. I still have mine sitting in my garage from my 89. My friend has to pick it up though. He bought my 89.

I vote Heat extractor or the small cowl. I don't like the way the cobra r looks on a fox, curvey lines don't flow very well a square boxy fox.
