RE: anyone else hate not having ABS?
yeah, them SSBC's clamp too damn hard.....
i think the problem was mostly the paving, i had not 2 minutes before turned around in a culdesac at idleish in 2nd gear, and it felt like the back end was breaking loose... giving it NO gas, soo

Don't like ABS, I prefer to modulate my brake pressure myself. Never had a problem except in the snow, and only then if I try to stop too quickly for being in the snow.

I cant stand ABS. If I hit a bump in my sunfire, the ABS kicks in. I'm trying to figure out a way to disable it without messing up the system.
GM does some of the dumbest **** with their brake setups.

In my driveway I have all different set ups.
Our 65 is 4 manual 10" drums.
Mustang and truck are disc, drum, no abs.
The LHS is 4 disc w abs.
In an emergency stop nothing will break better than a good abs equiped car. You can also steer during full on braking. ABS will always apply maximum braking to every tire. The ones that are loaded AND the ones unloaded.
Modulating blah, blah, blah. When you modulate you are modulating for the 1st tire to lock up. You then release slightly and guess what, you've just released all 4 wheels.
In a ***** to the wall 60mph to 0 contest a non abs car will not outperform a similar ABS equiped car.
