Default fluidyne radiators

anyone have one of these in their stangs ..

any opinions of it ?

any tips or hints when installing one ?

my stangs runs a lil hot in the summer time , a lil past half way on the stock gauges . i guess thats a lil over 200 degrees ..

so i want to install an aluminum 2 row fluidyne to bring down the temp a bit ...
should i go with a 160 or 180 thermostat ???

anyone prefer a certain brand or mixture of antifreeze???

and when you drain the system is it necessary to drain the block plugs as well ????

also no one answered me in my other post but does anyone know what the air temperature coming out of my vents should be with the ac on full blast if working properly ?????

50/50 on the antifreeze I dilute it with distilled water to keep out impurities expecially since I have aluminum heads and no cooler than 180 on an efi car

On top of that, get a Mr Gasket 180 stat and some water wetter. You'll be very happy w/ the engine temps. I bought an aluminum rad off e-bay. Fit was good, only had to slightly mod the upper brackets, 3 years old now working great.

I couldn't find the guy I bought mine from, but this one is very similar to the one I bought.

love my fluidyne.
dropped right in and fits like a glove in stock location.
uses top brackets perfect, no modding needed.

180 t-stat for sure.

Couldn't agree more. I also purchased one of those Ebay Aluminum radiators and it looks awesome.
