I wouldn't plan on waiting an hour though....shops are gonna tell you the max timeit could take incase mistake or problems come up. Mistakes can easily double the tint time.

i would use abrasive chemicals like thinners and ecetone CAREFULLY in a mustang
the interior is plastic and WILL get eaten away at the slightest TOUCH of any of those chemicals

use water with a hint of dish soap and a razor

ya i should have mentioned the being careful..i had a couple paper towels folded up into a smaller square and just damped that ..not dripping wet.but damp n rubbed it on there...and also if doin this ..do it in a well(very well) ventilated area..unless u wanna get a little loopy...i did mine with the windows down and doors open on a day that it was pretty windy so i had plenty of air movin thru..cuz that stuffs strong...but removed it no problems..

ya, i was thinkin about that, but idk, it all depends on what kinda quote i get. I talked to a guy today though to try and get a quote and he told me he doesnt do cars that old, because of warranty issues, because seals worn and stuff and they can ruin the tint or something, idk, so hopefully i dont get this problem with the other places i call.

Oh and it was my first time tinting a car.

2 Things to keep in mind

1. Cut the shape of the window from the groove in door frame
2. be mindful of the two sides of the tint. One side has clear and the other is the tint.

It was easy and fun. Reason I paid $35 is because I was looking for the most expensive tint. $35 was for 3 boxes (just in case I messed up - which I did).
