Default My summer project

Finally got a nearly complete list of mods I plan to start in the next couple weeks here.
Here it is:
GT40p heads (already obtained for $70, need some work) with mild porting, valve job, milling
GT40 intake u and l
explorer TB
C&L 76mm MAF with 24# injectors
TFS stage 1 cam and new springs
Electric fan conversion, 3g alt
under drive pulleys
FRPP shorties (got some for $70 already)

I'm shooting for 300rwhp, might come down to how much I want to put into my heads. So what do you all think?

You should have a strong running car with those mods, I have GT40P heads and a Cobra intake, with what I have done to my car it runs real good. It is nice and mellow when driving it easy but becomes a beast when I smash the loud pedal

Made it to the junkyard again today and found a 5.0 Mountaineer. Pulled the upper and lower intake and throttle body. $32 for it all. Now I just need to get my other parts and I can really start working on this.

Alright guys. Just talked to the machine shop and they will give me a 3 angle valve job and hot tank for $80 a head. Does that sound good? The other shop wanted $95.

how does the gt40 stuff flow with the stock cam? I'm looking at $460 to put in a new cam. I figure the tfs stage 1 is $160, valve job/spring install $160, $140 for springs. And this is if I reuse my lifters.
