I've owned little four cylinders with semi loud exhaust, a Mazda 3 that I turboed with all the goodies, an 87 Camaro 5.7 with an aftermarket exhaust. I've never really had a problem with my neighbors with these cars.

I finally get my Mustang on the road with only a bbk cold air and flowmaster mufflers. Now I get the looks from neighbors. They scowl and stare at me for no reason at all. I don't do burnouts on my street even though I live on a dead end road. I get no respect with this car besides the average guy that can respect a fine muscle car.

Maybe I should start doing burnouts to earn those nasty looks! lol

F*ckin run it. That's what I say. I rip out sideway when I'm going to work in the morning. there is rubber all up and down my road. My bro has a 500 HP 3rd Gen Dodge Cummins with 6 " stacks, and does the same thing. My neighbors go ape $hit every time I fire the stang up. And the best part is they don't even have any kids, or any reason to be pissed, other than just being crotchety old f^cks. I could see if I pull out sideways of my driveway at 3:00 am, but not when I go to work for 8:30.

 

I too get those looks and the only mods I've got are also a BBK CAI and Flowmasters, they look at me as I'm a f*cking serial killer or something, I don't mind though I just burn out in front of them most of the time.

 

i get the nasty glare from neighbors all the time. they think that because they can hear me before they see me that i must be speeding. **** em.

 

I should rip it up. I have a couple friends that own stangs as well and light em up down my road. I live at the end of the dead end road so it's not like we're flying by there house or anything. People also have called the cops on us. But I've never done it yet!

Also I don't come home at midnight or anything. I take it to and from work sometimes. And if my neighbors were actually cool I live on a perfect drag strip that's more than a quarter mile long and straight with plenty of shut down at the end. That would be sweet!

dude if i were you i'd rip it up and down the street. thats what i did when my neighbors started to look at me. about the 2nd time i let it rip one of them came up to me and said nice. he was waiting for me to do that. so rip it up man.

 

lol my neighbors like to call the cops! Last thing I need is an ******* cop spying on me whenever I drive it. At one point last year I've seen a cop hiding around a corner waiting for something. Nothing better to do! Hard earned tax money right there.

And what's even funnier is I'm 30 and I'm being treated like a teenager.
