speed sensor

Default speed sensor
I have a 1995 GT with a MAC transmission and the speedometer isn't working. The speed sensor is gone. We have tried every place trying to find one. Does anyone know were I could get one? Also, when the car is down shifted to slow down it frequently stauls,locking up the steering etc. What could that be?
