i have a 91 gt 5.0 and the previous owner put the harness in for a 130 amp alt. i got the car with no alt. and came across a factory 75 amp alt. the wires are different. what are the wires i need to hook up. thereare no plugs on the 75 amp alt but there is a plug on the 130 amp alt. if i cut the plug offwere do the three wires go. i cantake pics if i need too and post them.

 

just buy the factory original end or cut it off one in a bone yard and size and color code should match up if correct year is used

 

just get another 130amp 3G alternator.
Those stock 75amp 2G alts are good for one thing ........... the trash

 

well i just bought the car. i kept the plug to the 130 amp harness to use it when i get a 130 amp. heres the deal i got the car for 800.00 and it didn't have a center concole, upper or lower intake or an alt. so i bought the intakes and the guy had the 75 amp atl and wanted 15.00 for it so i bought it from the guy that had the intakes. the car has a msd ignition kit, aluminum driveshaft, lowered 1.5", cobra r 03 rims, cd player, 3:73 gears, and new tires. i got the center console fromthe junkyard for 40.00 so now i have all the parts and puttin it together to get it running. but im broke till payday. plus my wife is kinda hot about all the money, butit will be worth it in the end.im an e-5 in the army i don't make that much $$$ but we do alright. but i just had to have the car especially for that price. i got the alt working i think but when i rev on the gas then the battery guage raises to like the rpms but not as much. is this normal. i really appreciate all the help yall have saved me alot of $$$$.
