Why not rebuild that one and run with the one that's already in it now?

i bought the car and come to find out the motor was in bad need of a rebuild ( didn't know ) so I yanked it to rebuild. I found this motor fairly cheap so I bought it to thow in to drive around while I take my time and build my other motor right. It is going to take awhile to build it the way I want to.

IF that's the case you could just use some sort of system flush if you want, or just change the oil. It'll hopefully last as long as it takes to rebuild the other engine.

drain the oil and change the filter. Then put 4 quarts of 10 w40 and one quart of atf transmision fluid. drive it for a week then change the oil and filter again and just use oil. Don't use salt water.
