Thanks this temp issue cleared all of my problems I had problems with the motor falling down at high rpm's and I read the crane cams hi6r mannual and it's said that their coil runt like up to 8800 at 185 degrees then I was thing my car was running about 210 sometimes a little more. I went out and got a 160 performance thermostat and drained the radiator and flushed it and mixed some of the water wetter stuff in a bottle and problem solved. My car didn't get over 180 not today anyway going to put the underdrive pulley and the electric fan on maybe this weekend car runs great trying to make it to the track next friday or so and test it out. Thanks everybody for the help. I'll post some pictures of my car and the motor this weekend if I get a chance and think about it.

160 is probably a little too cool.I use a 180 degreethermostat, and my motor runs right at 183 degrees no matter how much i run it.
Also, since you got a "performance" thermostat, would it happen to be Mr. Gasket? I've had nothing but problems with them, and i went through2 brand new onesbefore i switched to Stant. Both were stuck open just a crack when i took them out, hence the reason my car wouldn't warm up past 165. I would never recommend a Mr. Gasket thermostat to someone, unless they enjoy messing with that dang thermostat housing.
