347 TEMP
no, not a mustang specifically, ill have to ask a tech at work, he was telling me about that since i asked about the temps on mine, i was going to a 195 t-stat and wanted to know if that was too much. he said that should be fine, and told me how hot the motors w/ alum heads run. yea its emmision purposes, and he said that hot motors run better than cold ones.
hes more old school, he can fix the new ones, but he has a 9.3sec fairlane, so hes not a complete idiot lol

?????^^^ hmmmm actually my aluminum head jetta runs cooler than my bro's cast iron headed ride...in theroy aluminum headed cars should run cooler cause the aluminum is a better conductor of heat disapation/transfer but heat can be controlled either way by size of t-stat and or opening in it/range operation of it...you'll be fine with a 195
thanks, the first time i was in the summer heat and in traffic, i was dataloging and happened to see the ect rise to about 200-205 and i flipped out lol, pulled over on a side road and shut it down and let the fan run lol
on an sn^^^^ it'll do that I believe cause you have an elec cooling fan and in stop and go traffic it'll rise to point where cooling fan switch should trip the fan to come on and cool it back down to min/ operating temp
