Default recommended shifters?

Alright, most of you know by now, I am putting a t5 into my 71 mustang. ATM both of my t5's have stock shifters. I am wanting to know who uses what, and what they have used in the past, experiences, and what they prefered. Please give a semi-indepth post as to why you liked/disliked each shifter.

I have heard that the hurst/mgw are good ones. I was thinking I would just buy MGW, but i wanted to see how everyone felt about their shifters, and other ones they had used. Thanks guys.

Nothing can touch the MGW. Its fully adjustable and makes the car a joy to drive

i've always used PRO5.0 shifters and have never had a problem. They are a nice short throw, and you know when the tranny is in gr.

They MGW, i've never used. I've had a hurst before and i wasn't that impressed. My buddye uses a Steed Tri-ax and his is kinda hard to get into 3rd (may be a trans issue though).... So hands down for me is the Pro 5.0, and i'm not dawging on the others i haven't tried, just given input on the ones i've used.

i have a steeda tri-ax in mine. it was in the car when i bought it. so i havent experienced any other shifter stock or aftermarket. i really like the shifter, but the downfall is it is kinda clunky if your not shifting like a mad man. when you do shift it like a mad man it is great and feels super smooth. havent missed a shift with it yet.

I use a Pro5.0 Shifter.I love it feels super solid and yet smooth at the same time. This is the only one I've used, but I don't think I would ever use a different one again. The only thing the MGW could have as an extrapositive on any other shifter, would be the adjustability of it.

I have the Fidanza shifter which looks identical to the B&M Pro ripper(which its probably made by B&M) and I love it. It workgs great for me.
