Default BBK SHORTY(fitment issues????)

I just got some BBK shorties for my car, haven't put on yet.

But Have heard of an issue with fitment on passengers side h-pipe.

Frank(boonierider) just installed the same headers on his 93 cobra and had to have a shop fabracate the h-pipe to make a correct fitment.

Has anyone else had this problem with BBk shorties, cause muffler shops wont mess with my car because of the o/r H.

I have a summit o/r h

part # BBK 1515

I am running a stock midpipe right now, got tired of the stink and noise from the offroad unit. I've only had the headers bolted up to the stock pipe and they fit like a glove.

my pipe bolted up perfectly.

its amazing how foxes have such a huge aftermarket, and nothing fits them properly... yet the lowly SN-95 5.0 has a tiny aftermarket, and everything fits perfect

on my 95, i have tbe bbk equal shorties, the only fitment problme i had was that the drivers side tube was hitting the steering shaft, i shimmed the motor mounts and got the clearance i needed, midpipe still bolted up, stock midpipe.

the drivers side header hitting the steering shaft is a common problem... I ran into it myself.

come to find out, I had a bad motor mount

My BBK shorties and BBK O/R H pipe fit almost perfect...the headers on passenger side to H pipe fit perfect, but on the driver side where header and H meet its at a slight angle..no biggie though I think the hangar on driver side needs bent a little.
