rear end

Default rear end

ive noticed a humming sound comming from my rear end when im on the gas around 30+ mph its getting under my skin. with all the heat ive been to lazy to get under my car and check it out wondering if anyone has had this issue or thinks they know what is causing this?thanks

low fluid maybe...

just keep driving it till it blows up... then you will know EXACTLY what the problem is!

not always.... once the car gets moving fast enough, its slinging the fluid around more, so less gets on/in the gears

has it had gears installed before??? if so improper pinion depth setting and or backlash can cause such..also a bad bearing could cause noise but it would be noisey all the time and get louder as speed increases..if it comes and goes at certain speeds , could be an install issue
