so i worked on my car pretty much all day today and got the old motor out and the new one in and all set up at about 930 tonight. after getting the carb on, plugs in, got it roughly timed correctly, and hooked up the fuel pump, it was probably about 1130 or so... i HAD to do it! hadnt installed the x pipe yet either... So i did it. busted that bish off. all i saw were lights popping on around my neighborhood. thats the look of success guys. i mean EVERY house's lights were on and ppl were comming outside looking.

on the other end, the motor runs great. good steady oil psi, no rattles(as of yet, cant hear with open hedders), and the b cam sounds like a champ. i degreed it 2 more degrees when i installed it. i am a very satisfied SOB right now. cant wait till tomorrow to button it all up and put her on the road... (talk about pissy neighbors... they aint gon like the NEW black top job ima give em)LOL!!!

i got the exhaust off mine rite now, just open headers, and I fired it up for my friend around midnight Friday. I had the garage door open, and my garage is 40 by 50' with 16 foot cielings. It just echoed throughout the whole building. It was great. I only ran the car for like 2 minutes though.
