Distributor ?
Ok so i have a 1984 mustang lx, right now im in the process of rebuilding a 1988 motor from a lincoln.
I'm wanting to stay carb'd but im not sure how all of this will work.
Would the distributor from my 1984 mustang fit in the 1988? i don't think they will, but i don't know of any other way to get my harness to fit right.
Since it has different plug ins.
I don't know if this makes any sense to any of you, im sorry.... best explanation i can come up with...
ill post pics if that helps.

RE: Distributor ?
If you are going to run a roller cam in the 88 block, go to a local parts house or look in a salvage yard and get a dizzy for an 85 model GT. It has the Duraspark harness and has the correct gear on the dizzy for the roller camshaft. They are like $100 or less at places like Auto Zone and such. I almost went that route but ended up going with full MSD ignition.

If you are going to run a roller cam, then yes, an 85 model dizzy will have the correct gear to match a roller cam and it will have the duraspark wiring plug just like your 84 model picture.
