lol, considering the E7s and stock intake your probably making 10 hp over stock, you realize that right

 

Depends how badly you treat it. My friend with the badass 306 blew 5th in his of all gears. He makes at least 450crank ponies. Stock termies are EASY wins to 120mph. Out of all the gears to let go, it was 5th. It's still a pull gear in his car with 3.55's...it's a stout tranny but if inflicted with teenage abuse it'll go. It's a dinosaur afterall...

 

Hmm, we have AFR 165's, E303 cam, Edelbrock RPM air gap intake Holley 4BBL 670 street avenger carb, probably going to get the centerforce dual friction clutch, and our rear end has 3.73's.

 

at the track I do my burnouts in 2nd with 3.73s. but my car is also supercharged

i can do a burnout in 2nd no problem and that was back when the car was stock with 2.73's, its an auto tho.
my friend had an 87 STOCK and blew 2 t5's in 6 months and the 3rd was on its way out. and he could power brake it in 1st 2nd or 3rd. with the t5. ur not doing something right
