Alright, the builds starting to come together and I have to figure out the exhaust. I'm looking for a nice deep rumble. I want it to be loud but not raspy or crackle. We will NOT be using any cats since we're in Michigan and exmissions isn't an issue. Heres a link of a car I think sounds awesome, what do you guys reccomend ?

Did you hear the car in the link I posted, thats magnaflow and it's nice and deep.

We used to have an 98 GT with magnaflow and it was just deep and loud.

Heres an example of raspy or at least what I DON'T WANT.

It might be the dumps ? Hear the rasp when he lets off the throttle ?

5.0's don't sound raspy no matter what exhaust system they have unless they're built. They're usually deep and often drony. Save raspy for the 2V 4.6...

Dumps...nothing but lound and toxic. You may as well smoke and find another way to make zero horsepower[&:]. "Hey look at me in my super loud stock car". What do you lose from the muffler back except noise? Straight pipes or **** off if you're willing to offend that many people...

I like my bassani more than any other exhaust ive had, it is a little raspy though, which I wanted a different tone

Well...mine has 3 chamber Flows. It's very quiet at idle and loud at WOT. But not that drony hollow sound you get with 2 chamber, you know that sound you here from 5 blocks away and know it's a 5.0. That's why I got mine and I think it sounds great. It's a tighter more contained sound thatspins and resonates as the tach climbs. I love it. Check for some sound clips. Not of my car, I'm a computer dunce but you'll hear what I'm talking about. Every Surrey gunch has 2 chamber Flows on his car and quite frankly it's tired....
