ok
so i raced a civic SI tonight (won of course)
but after the race my car started acting funny and had no power to it
it also has a knock to it
its not smoking or anything like that
it just kinda has a chug to it and a slight knock
any ideas on a diagnostic?
sorry for the lack of real info but im not really that familiar with alot of techy stuff
it seems to be coming fromn the passenger side

well could be main bearings, rod bearings, valve train. can you get a video?
its hard to diagnose sounds with out actually being there.

i wnet out this morning to start it
its not knocking like it was
but it sounds like theres an exhaust leak and it has a squeak somehwere towards the rear of the engine
ill try and get a video here in a little bit

so i made a video but you cant hear anything on it
the sound i was hearing was definately a valvetrain noise
and seeing as i have the stock exhaust manifold, an exhaust leak isnt out of the question because they are old and beat up
but i still cant figure out what would squeak when i shut the engine off
