im so tired of hearing my family and friends tellin me to sell my car...."its not worth all the money, to much body work, you dont need more power, to much gas, etc etc." you think people who are your "friends" or "family" would support a love for a car but i guess im unlucky[:@]

I'm not a kid anymore so I don't have to worry about what friends and family think. However, my wife shares in my interest and has her own foxbody. So basically, w/e I want to do is fine w/ her. The only time something stops me is when cash flow is low. That's about it.

I feel your paint man. Everyone supports me except for my mother and father. I have my one car parked under a tent in the backyard in about 439 pieces, that may be why

x2 but mines just the other way around. If I talk about selling it, shes like never. You will never get "our" money out of it. So I keep it and putmore of "our" morny in to it.

oh ive heard that a million F'ing times my cars too loud
my mom tells me everyday i should just sell it and i hear it from all my friends cuz they drive cute lil hondas "just sell the rust bucket and get a honda"
cant wait to finish this thing and shut um all up
luckily my dad supports it (cuz its legally under his name) so i get some support

my friends and family dig mine , i just have the regular stuff like you sure that is going to work , or you sure you want to do that to it . but it is disheartening to hear , that is why we are all on a forum like this to get some support from fellow hot rodders and such .
