Are MAC long tube headers and x pipes any good?
I want to put LT's on my car and will need another X pipe so I was looking at MAC stuff.
Is it any good?

Does it matter if the headers are regular or chrome? It doesnt really matter what they look like but I dont want them to rust thru.
One of the sellers on ebay says they have a 50k mile warranty and thats probably more than Ill ever drive my Mustang anyway.

mac products suck. the shorties i had warped and the finish lookd like ***

i put on bbk longtubes a few months ago and they still look like the day i put them on, no gasket leak, and the quality is very nice

 

i have heard more complaints about mac headers than good...i would look at bbk before mac.

and i use to have a mac catback on my old lx and that sounded good with a mac h pipe, that was years ago though........

 

What are some other brands to look at besides BBK?
Is Flowtech any good?

 

flowtech's are pretty good.
mac stuff is all good OTHER than the headers. hpipes and catbacks are all good.
