Default electrical problem

i just replaced my headlights and now when im driving they flash on and off...it never did this before i replaced them...i check all the wiring and its all correct....it seems to only do it when i turn the fogs on but i cant be 100% sure of that (by the way before i changed my headlights i never used the fogs) my friend said maybe my batter is to weak to power it all but i doubt that? any ideas? ive got new hid's and im dying to put them in but i dont want them to just flash

on foxes the fog lights run off the headlight switch/dimmer switchand often times the current draw will exceed the wirings capabilities and overheat the circuit and often times damages wiring.. there was a bullutien ford put out on this issue..what you end up doing is using a relay and dedicate the fog light circuit to it's own seperate circuit...not sure this is your problem but possible..first I'd make sure all ground connections are good and secure

i had that same thing happen 8 years ago, i replaced the headlight switch in the dash, that cured it, MJR46 is right though, they do run too much current through them. Try a new headlight switch first, i got mine from a junk yard for about 5 bucks, its a cheap fix if it works!!
