I know i know caps are irritating but im excited, so reason im here is i plan on drifting my 88 5.0 GT hatchback pics to come later anywho i have about 1800 to spend what do you guys recomend as far as suspension goes to get the car to be driftable, what should i start with, steeda 5 link ?, MM kmember-coil over kit?, any input would be great

there was another guy on here who had a 5.0 who drifted it for a hobby, i believe if you search drift 5.0 on google you will find it, he had a bunch of writeups on his setup and such

drifting is NOT gay, as long as you do it right. mustangs have torque and drift better than little ricers and it's pretty entertaining when you can show all the ricers up when you do it better .
did someone convert the "notch" to a gt for some reason? or was that a typo and you meant hatch?
get some gear that way the tires rip loose easier

I like the ******** who drift on the street then almost drift right into me. Yeah I'll be really happy when those dumbasses do that. If your gonna set your car up for drifting make sure you leave it for the track, because when you hit someone there not going to be very happy when you smack into there car because you lost control.
