Hello everyone. I just bought my first 5.0 mustang about a week ago. Everything is fine about the car except when I put gas for the second time. It seems when i fill it up to full, the car fuel gauge reads 3/4 full. The of course after driving the car it depletes as normal. My question is why does it do that and if it's a future problem how can I fix it?

 

Oh yeah I almost forgot. It is a 1993 5.0 V8mustang lx convertible with 149000 miles on it. I bought it completly stock from a nice gentleman who took very good care of it.

i have a similar problem when i start the car he fuel gauge goes down to empty then five minutes later its back to normal.
