Nothing major is done to it.Last yearI had ported and decked E7's, ported stock upper and lower intake, 65mm TB, 75mm proM MAF and 24lb ijectors, kirban AFPR, March ram air kit, 1.7RR on a stock cam, electric fan, no smog, underdrives, full exhaust, rebuilt T5, 3.73's, control arms, and a set of MT's...I ran a best of 13.2 at 104. The only thing that changed this year is I got a new CAI, typhoon intake, coil overs, and some nittos that are 1" shorter. I am hoping to get down to 13 flat with the shorter tire and coilovers I should lower my 60' a 10th.....if the tires work well. I am hoping for a steady 1.7 60', but would like to see a 1.6 60', but I doubt that for the first time of the year. The car rus a lot better with the new intake, so we will see, I will keep you guys posted.

Ditto on the above. That's what I did when I ran them. A major smokey burnout is a must!!! Don't forget the blue painters tape for the new paint on those rear lower quarters!!
Where can I get some of that blue painters tape?

to the OP- you'll really need to heat those nittos up to get some traction out of them.

Alright, I tore it up at the track tonight, trying to feel out the new tires. The seemed to hold pretty well, I just need to learn how to launch on them. Sometimes they would hook really good and cause me to bog, so I would raise my launch RPM about 500 and I would blow them off the next time. 3000 RPMs seem to be the best, but I would like to leave at around 4000. I was getting steady 1.8 60s and one 1.7. Over all I had a good and fun night at the track, I ran a best of 13.22 at 104mph with a 1.85 60. I ran 10 times, and 5 of the 10 times I was in 13.2X, and my worse was a 13.8. So when I get these tires down to consistent 1.7s I will be hitting my 13 flat I think. I still have some tricks up my sleeve to get it faster....
