I run 87 in my car, but all she has is bolt ons, as far as I know stock timing (havnt checked it to know) and I have no problems....

motor appears to never been opened either

both of my stangs did not really like 87 unless i was taking it easy and not a lot of hills and what not it also lowered my mileage just a little.

I run 87 on my bone stock motor and its 12 degree timing is what original owner said. It runs good its hard on gas and i think its running roch but i dont think its anything to do with the timing, I wouldnt go any higher then 12 with 87.

Stock 1993 Coupe with stock timing and running 87 octane all day in very humid conditions.

i run nothing less then 93 octane use to run ultra 94 from sunoco until they stopped making it..i just baby my cars that why i only use the high test keep those injectors clean

i run 87 in the 5.0, even w. the h/c/i...i forget what timings at... somewhere around 14deg... only time i throw 93 in it was when i used to spray it
