hi i just wanted to know what you guys think about this car im looking at. Its a 92 mustang Lx. it is a notchback. 5.0L and a 5 spd. black exterior and black interior. 134k miles. prety stock with a couple bolt ons. guy wants 5grand. do you think it is worth it. car is very clean. also how rare is this car. thx for the imput

you should be able to get it for 4500 which soundsok for a clean black on black original 5.0 5spd notch. It really depends on area. I live in NY so any 5.0coupe that isnt rusted out is going to get at least 5K

its in jersey. most of the ones i see dont have the black sport interior. the bolt ons are a cowl hood. gt40 intake, full exhaust, cobra r wheels, new headlights, short shifter,cold air intake.it also comes with some unistalled parts like subframe connectors and control arms. car is extremely clean even under the hood.

try to talk him down to 4500, but in all 5K doesnt sound too bad for a clean notch.

does the guy have reciepts, how many owners? was it ragged on alot?

notches arent rare, but they are sorta common, but a clean 5.0 notch with a 5speed can fetch a good dollar, cuz many people use them for race cars, because out of all 3 bodystyles in the foxbody line, the notch was the lightest and the stiffest out of the box.

and the vert is the heaviest and the most floppy

Just buy it no matter what a black on black 92 notch is one of the most disered foxes, u can't lose paying 5 k for it

for that mileage it seems kind of high, black notch or not. Gas is a fortune now too. See if it's on ebay and if you can bid on it. I wouldn't pay more than 4 for it, and I live in NJ.
