to install it in a fox you'd need to swap timing covers and use the long block ......but motors are the same except when you go back to 92 and below to 85 where pistons were forged

Well, the timing cover needs to be changed because of the difference in the accessories and the intake for the 94/95 has an elbow in it that the 93 and earlier engines didn't due to differences in the engine bay.

They're both the same. The 94-95 just has the elbow bolted onto it. You don't use it for a Fox. Just take it off.

thats on aftermarket intake manifolds. the stock sn95 intake is one whole unit. just replace the intake manifold with a stock fox piece.

Hmmm...Come to think of it, the 2 SN95's that I've worked on, had Cobra intakes. Those elbows are bolted on. I hadn't actually considered that the stocker was one piece.
