my n/a 331 should be screaming in a couple weeks, should make 390-400rwhp with a stick, that will be fun and too slow after a couple months lol
im 19 lol

if you cant get the heads, ill sell you my old heads cheaper, they should make about the same power as the 165's.

I bought them through another company but they were shipped directly from AFR.

I've seen guys with out of the box AFR 165's running in the 11's with 302's, so they're obviously not an impediment to making power, especially in a street 302. Bigger heads won't necessarily make more power. Smaller ports mean higher velocity, and inertia increases as the square of the velocity, so the smaller ports produce better inertial supercharging when matched with proper cam timing yadda yadda, that means more power(thoough not in all cases, it depends on the build).

There's a reason the Formula 1 engine designers(easily the BEST in the world) are spending hundreds of millions of dollars per season for 1 team and run small ports on their heads. And even more impressively they make usable power across a 5,000rpm range on a 20,000rpm 2.4L engine. They run those engines between around 15,000-20,000rpm. The charge velocity in the port exceeds the speed of sound, and they're making 800+hp out of 145 cubinc inches, all engine. With small ports.
