I currently have flowmasters on my stang I have an x pipe just haven't had the money to install but I hear a lot of people saying it doesn't sound as good what truth is there in this ? And does it sound good the x pipe with 40s flows .... I hear that straight thru mufflers sound better like magnaflows ... ??? Thanks

I have BBK LTs and a BBK catted x pipe, but I gutted the cats and flows. My car sounds amazing, not too loud cruising but when I open it up it sounds effin mean. Trying not to be biased Magnaflows would sound great too, it's all in your preference.

all a matter of opinion......imo a x pipe sounds better than an h-pipe that's why i got an x on mine..but like I said = a matter of opinion

+1 with above staement its all opinion... i like the sound of an h pipe on a 5.0 but like said before its preference

I have an X-pipe which i prefer over an H-pipe because its more eratic sounding... and i had flowmaster mufflers first and they sound good but they resonate way too much in the car, then i bought magna flows and they were so quiet my car sounded stock... then i bought spintech mufflers and they sound rediculously amazing they are loud when im on it but nice and quiet when im cruising! I wont buy any other mufflers again!

Well ill see what's up with the flows and if not ill try spintech mufflers ... are those spintech mufflers chambered mufflers ?

not really chambered... they are a rectangle muffler and they have baffles that are welded in a circle and they spin the air... check out the website... spintechmufflers.com
