pushrod measuring

Default pushrod measuring

what do i need to find out the pushrod length ill need??
is there a tool or something i need??

yeah, your gonna need a solid lifter , the same roller-pocket distance as the ones your using, and a push rod length tool

its a pushrod drilled out and threaded so you can extend it

I think ours is a comp cams one. Just look in summit, they sell them. Turn it out and measure, then order the size you need.

Sorry for my noobnessbut i still have some questions, would a dial caliper work for measuring them or would i be better off getting the pushrod length tool.
And is there a good article that shows how to properly measure them??

just open up a stock lifter and flip cup and remove spring and shim with washer and reinstall clip and there you have it a solid lifter for checking length and ptv
