okay, i ordered the pushrods, theyre clevite ones, 6.248

i dont think the 2 thousanths of an inch will matter


but, wait whats that, theyre not gonna be here till monday, what a fabulous surprise...

well, i guess i get to finish everything else up until then

and by finish everything up, of course i mean get the lower intake on and all the rad hoses in, i guess i can actually do alot now that i think of it, but still im grumpy cause it wont be running until monday if that


oh well, looks like the inagural burnout IS gonna be tuesday at registration

well, i stripped the heat riser bolt hole in the back of the drivers side head


needless to say the punching bag in my back yard got a beating

but i got it in...

so yeah, i got almost nothing done today except get the rest of my smog tubing back on and run my gauge wires through the firewall...

im debating putting on the lower manifold because then it will be harder to get the rockers tightened down, but ill probably get the accessories on this weekend

got the lower intake manifold on, heater tubes in Can anyone post a pic of the rear heater hoses from the hard tubes to the heater core? i forgot which ones went where)

lets see, oiled the lifters in the valley, got the rad hoses in, got all the gauges wired up, etc

hes not running solid lifters , he used the one roller converted to a solid for measuring purposes...
