Question about the PCV

removing the hose that goes from the valve cover to the TB (or in my case, the CAI tube) will not help with any oil burning issues. You have to remember that this hose connects BEFORE the TB, and is NOT a source of vac. It is instead a source of fresh air to be drawn INTO the crankcase so that the PCV can evacuate the vapors better. Plugging it up and running the PCV only, will actually make the PCV system stop working, and you will begin to have pressurization problems!
