Default 1995 COBRA is it Genuine or Clone????

I am about to bid on a 1995 Cobra coupe at a local auction. The VIN says its a Cobra but some other things don't look Cobra. The back bumper says Mustang. It has cloth interior. It has a 5.0 Cobra motor. Are there any things I should look for specifically? The VIN is 1FALP42D6SF206185. I just don't want to get ripped-off. This will be my 5th Mustang but I have never owned a Cobra. Thank you.

Everything sounds legit so far, other things to check:

Cobra front break calipers
Cobra on the steering wheel
160mph white face gauges

to name a select few...

yes they did have oil coolers, aka coolant heaters lol.

you could get Cobras in cloth, they were much more rare than leather though.

What they said. About the bumper, Cobra's didn't say "Cobra" on the rear bumper until '96 (except '99). The VIN sounds right for a Cobra.

GUess that answers your question. Note to you though, need to fix your sig. I can't remember the sizes but three big pics is a no go. There is a thread on proper sig usage.

The 94-95 Cobras only said "Mustang" on the backs, thats why some people swap for 96+ rears so they say COBRA
