Default what causes hesitation

I drove my car to get some 91, immediate notices, it idled alot smoother, and it didnt hesitate off idle like it did with 87, and then i drove it to show my friend, i didnt really get above 3grand, and never gave it more than about 1/8th throttle. i made a turn and gave it maybe 1/4 (in first, rolled at about 5mph) and at about 2k it lost power, i let off and it backfired (its been backfiring when i let off the accelerator above 2k, i think its just the comp learning) side note, right as it backfired i looked to the left and saw the good old black n white, good thing he didnt flip a bitch and follow me, lol but yeah, im guessing its because the timing is crap (new dizzy is stabbed in as close as i could get to the old, which i think was about 10*) dont ask me, i didnt time it, my dad and my neighbor were convinced 14 (what i told them) was too much /blue smileh but yeah, what could this bee besides timing, so i can check?

Fuel pressure? Definitely put a light on that car and time it out!

if fuel pressure was the problem, summit would be getting a stong letter complaining about their 255lph pump.....

no it was timing, my dad keeps thinking its 10 degrees, i just bumped it (he had it retarded from where my mark was from the other dizzy) i bumped it a bit and its fine now

if it backfires on an efi car, most likely timing
