hey everyone, tried other forum no response. did start a 331 project then scrapped it for a 393. the 393 has forged internals, vic jr intake, holley 750 hp, afr 185, 10.5 to one comp., blah, blah, blah. question is already have 15/8 equal length headers with h-pipe and 21/2 with flowmasters. motor is coming with super comps 2" primaries to 3" collecter then a 3" x-pipe and 3" all the way to the tires. are these headers to big, and i should the smaller ones. or should i put the 3" on there and rock-roll?? car will likely never see track time. it is a street car that i drive on the weekends to terrorize the local ricers!!!

well your 302 headers wont clear the sterring arm, those headers are awsome but probably unnessisary, you will have to get a set of headers for the 351 setup though, brothers performance offer 1 3/4 in primary shorty headers if you preffer shorties, the h=pipe will however boltup, or you couls go long tube! and ofcourse different h or x pipe then!

those headers are going to be a tad over-kill for your set up.

yeah those are a little too big for a street ride but would kick *** for ***** out dragging.
