Default cant decide

http://www.allfordmustangs.com/photo...hp/photo/38212

I just have to block sand 5 coats of primer then I'm ready for paint. Should be flat enough for black paint, but I have always liked orange with the Saleen Rims.

I already keep 3 black Honda daily drivers spotless, and one more might push me over the edge.

My 89 GT will not be a daily driver,,I really like this car in the photo. I know,, paint it whatever color I want. But the Bright Orange will really be an attention getter, something I;m not really interested in.

I would be interested in any of you mustang guys opinion.

the orange is nice cuz you dont see it on foxbody's much and it does catch the eye but why dont you go with something different like two tone it or something. im soon painting mine and im doin blue on the bottum with silver up top then like a black pin stripe or something to break it up.

I would do one of 3 things
Keep it orange but add either a white two tone to it, Like aint mentioned
Maybe Keep it orage but with a white double stripe down the middle.
Keep it orange but paint the moldings on the side black.

Double stripe "white pearl" down the middle would look great!

Yea ,orange is one of them colors that you either love or love to hate it.

The pearl white stripes is a good idea, the car is the original gray/silver and I was going back original til I got thinking about how straight the body is and black is beautiful, when kept clean.

However I always loved orange muscle cars. Yellow -nah
Bright Red-ehh
Blue- nice but sick of blue
Silver- I hate silver

What other colors are there?

I agree,, there is a orange/silver Fox in the gallery I saw, I'm trying to stay away from the two tone because of the extra work involved (retaping and covering the rest of the car) when painting and the chance of overspray when switching colors before clearcoating, makes for a kinda "rushed event".

The reason for my dislike of Silver and Pewter is that a lot of the newer cars are that color, and a lot of those cars dont get washed much because the dirt isn't as noticeable,, now its OK on someones else's muscle car because the owner most likely keeps it clean.

I hate it when people buy the silver and pewter cars and trucks with the mindset that they dont have to clean it as often (lazyness),,,,,,, unless its a commercial vehicle,,then again most of them are White. JMO.
