whats the power diffrence??

Default whats the power diffrence??

whats the power diffrence in a 93 lx 5.0 when switching from a stock cam to a f cam? just done the swap on a buddies car and wanted to get a idea of the diffrence, thanks.

If the rest of the engine is stock then you're probably looking at a power decrease.

agreed, you are probably right were you started right now. To utilize the cam you will need a better flowing set of heads, intake, injectors and everything else that is assosiated with h/c/i

Granted the car is probably going to sound meaner then it did, but your gona be in the exact same place. also did you check the valve clearence when you put the cam in?

I swapped from stock e5 heads on my 92 to ported e7's and and f-cam and I didn't loose a beat!! but on the flip side I didn't gain any either

ya but you said PORTED e7's thats an upgrade, you had to gain some #'s

car with stock e5's and stock cam ran 13.70's to 13.80's at 97-98 mph, with e7's ported and f-cam it still does that, the heads are what is killing it, it needs heads but no money right now for them donor car was an 85 gt my 92 is a 4cyl conversion

you have a new rear w/ 3.73's now right? or are those times w/3.73's already?

No need to put an F cam in a stock 5.0....put the money in gears, exhaust, intake and a good tune for your bang for the buck...
