331 in a 4 banger frame question

I guess...Hmmm. I don't see why you'd have to. I know when you run a MAF computer, and a 4 banger dash harness, none of the gauges will work.

It's been a while since I've been stumped with a foxbody question...But here I am. I don't know the answer to this, I've never put a carb'd motor in a 4 cyl. shell.

don't know why they'd say it is cause it's the exact same one as a 5.0 all I had to do was use 5.0 motor mounts, it couldn't tell any diff between my 5.0 k-member an the 4 cyl one.

is that just so you can swap in the different guage cluster?
no need to swap dash harness if your plans are for a carb motor and you can use the 4cyl gauge cluster and long as you use a 4 cyl oil sender unit and the temp gauge will function fine with a 5.0 sender and the gas gauge and volt gauge won't be affected , you'll need a 5.0 tac and I'd get a 140 mph speedo while at it too
