no way to keep the rust off unless you wash it every time you get back from driving and i mean wash! like lift the car up and spray EVERYTHING. Best bet is to find a cheap beater, i dd'd mine for 1 winter and then said f this and bout a saab better gas milage and better tracktion in winter conditions

all you guys with beaters are lame. you can't take driving these things every day! just kidding. it's actually better to have something else for the winter if you live in a snowy climate. i've gotten mine stuck a few times in the snow. i've slid sideways, and did 180s in the snow, went off roads, gotten stuck. it sucks. thats why i have an f-350 i take.

Its my only car, it doesnt snow too bad where i am at, and its all highway, which penndot, suprisingly does a good job keeping clear... and I wash it every week to keep the salt off it...
I made it through last winter on 50% tread left summer tires... this year I have new all season tires... only got stuck once, in a parking lot..
and a vert gets hella cold really fast, but i muscle up, extra coat and crank that heater up...
