Default Went to the track today!!

WELL, only got three runs cause I spent the majority of the time helping my wife learn how to get the 92 to hook up and eventually had to swap to MT et street to help her out...anyway , the first two were motor passes and the last was on No2.....the NO2 pass was a shake down run to be a precursor to an all out one on the second one....I left the hole easy with a 1.77 60 ft on 3/4 throttle then close to the 60 ft I cracked it and didn't powershift any gear, I wanted to see how the power felt and for saftey on the motor I had pulled the timing from a base of 15 back to 8 so I had 7 degrees removed and was running 109 race gas, it felt a little slugish on the top end but none the less it ran hard, however event was shut down after the Z06 wrecked any was first two passes are all motor and the red 86 was zachwo4stang racing me ......and the third run speaks for itself, had I had a 4th run I'd of busted a 10 sec slip for sure..until next year it'll have to sit at that

Nice runs Mike, congrats. I'm glad you were ahead against the Zo6!! Coulda been a lot worse.

Did they say anything to you about not having a cage?

Oh and, that's it 3 runs???

NO DIDN'T SAY A WORD about no cage, that's what I like about these events = easy to get away with it and yup 3 runs that wreck happened at 11 o'clock and they had a heck of a time getting the barrier straight again as he knocked them outward, watch this run..my wife ran him earlier in the morning and had I not of been on the bottle he'd of been closer to me, he ran an 11.80'ish at 125+against my wife

She got nine runs in and I'm uploading one of hers right now against the z06......she did okay, she got a best of 14.34 @93 in my 92, I ran the 92 once = the first run of the day and ran a 13.96 @ 99.0 so the 3.73's picked it up some...but like I said, she'd of gotten close to 15 runs easy had the event lasted 4 hrs not 3 ...and there may have been a hair over 40-50 cars but never more than 3-4 cars backed up at any one time, I only got 3 runs cause I spent time helping her and swapping to the mt et streets cause with the 3.73 the nitto's wouldn't hook even with a decent burn out, more vids in a few!!
