FINALLY the vid of my mid 13 pass
OK....i finally have the video for the ones requesting it...some believe me....others dont till they see the vid....13.5 by all means is not fast so i am not trying to bloat...i just hate when someone tells me i cant do something and when i know i can...this was my first time at the track with this car...
please bare with me on the footage...new camera and tried to get it going...all runs were with a 5 k launch...it would spin the slick and then jump out of the whole...i know it can go a little faster...i didnt even get a chance to use my short belt...i say it has a 13.3 in it...it majorly needs top end....
here it is...for your viewing pleasure...

looks like the car wants to rip its rear end off. you need to weld up those TQ boxes ASAP. that thing just rattles out of its cage. either that or tone down the RPMS a bit and get a smoother launch and a faster 60foot.

a little edit here...i was on et drags...not et streets like in the video...special thanks to my buddy Eddie for making the video...not bad at all for the sucky footage we had...next video will be much better

ok...4500RPMS, my point is whatever you were launching at, if you're still spinning on the line and your car is reacting like that off the line....you're being a bit rough on her out the gate, a launch should be hook and go....and with slicks its a matter of the right RPM to get her to react for you. hook it up, smooth rise, smooth fall and next thing you know you just cut a 1.6-1.8 60' time

your right..thats why the rear suspension is going in next...i cut a 1.7 60 ft on all three runs...with the power i have (not much) i can probably get her down to a 1.6 but with a proper hook and rise and fall of the car...takes time and money...it'll come together nicely...and my torque boxes need to be welded before i go out again...but they look fine and no damage to them...
