I bought a Bazooka tube for my wifes vert since the trunk space is limited. I haven't installed it yet though.

holy jimminy christmas christ thats a tiny ported box. ESPECIALLY for a kickerL7. to a have tune ported box it needs to be AT LEAST double have you have there. ported boxes require more air space to sound correct. i bet they thing hardly hits.

(ps i have quite a bit experience in this area....especially the L7's, i've owned and created a couple systems with those subs, awesome sub selection....poor box)

the bass actually hits pretty hard i know with a bigger and better box it would sound way better but with the space in the trunk and size in 12 inch woofer i dont think i can build a good box in this trunk for it. I cant even put my top down because glass hits on the box so it doesn't let the top sit down all the way. Maybe if i build a box like the one in picture above would be good im pretty sure that one will let me put my top down.

build a box like mine and you should be fine.. i do know when i bought those subs back in 02 the guy told me 10's were the biggest i could go. but since i've built a few boxes for friends i've got the hang of it. i have two L7's in my maxima and i have two spare L7's for the stang. plus those in the pic

you can custom fiberglass anything to fit in any trunk. i have a friend who fit 2 15" L7's in the back of a zx3. looks impossible to get a big enough box...but fiberglass is your friend.

i know the l7's hit....but you havent experianced a well tuned L7 in a port tuned box. shake the god damn pictures of your neighbors walls is what its like!
