Default Edlebrock performer

anyone have any info or experience with these heads and a 347 COMBO this is what I have now there aluminum edelbrock performer heads. When I bought my car they were all ready on it along with the Trickflow set up. What I am wondering is am I loosing much with these heads that I could have with going with Trickflow or AFR1 I know they may create more horsepower but if it's now significant I am going to stick with what I got. I ran the 1/8 on the track with some street tires and rain a mid 9 at 82mph but I slid the whole way down the track like a slip and slide. I won though but I'll never do it again with street tires just got some of the Mickey street radials. Was curious though how good are these heads compared to whats out there I know there so many new things always coming out....

you got 302 parts on a 347 which is why your times are low.......you need at least a 185 head and IMO either trick flow heads , afr 185's or canfields 195's, that 347 is dying to breathe!!!! and you need either an rpm II or maybe holley systemax intake ftw

I went to Anderson and they said the Trickflow would be fine and we never talked about my heads but what you said sure makes sense but my time was low due to me sliding down the track mostly I don't slide on the street like that but I am sure it's will run better with better heads and that RPMII intake but it's all something to look foward to this winter going to get it all done and the 125shot of laughing gas lolololol can't wait. I've been researching those ARF1'S and the Trickflow and that's why I posed the question on the heads. thanks for the advice....

If I can get some traction now I am sure I can run a low 8 or high 7 it's ridiculous how my tires spent through the 1/8 but time will tell I may throw the drag radials on my car this weekend and got back but we just bought a new house so I may be done for the track for the year and put it up and come back next year hard and swinging lolololol going to get it tuned this winter for sure and get on of the PMS from Anderson...

good idea^^^^ I'd get a good base time of an all out pass but with traction and that'll give us a better idea of how well the combo is matched and or performing

My heads maybe the problem while when my engine heats up I get less RPM'S before hitting the rev limiter that would make sense if the engine isn't getting enough air or would it anyway I am going to get to the track and make some pass's maybe even this weekend I will let you know how everything goes.....
