Default Would it be worth it....

to got to efi on my car I'm havin so much freakin trouble with the carb setup now that I don't even know what to do anymore.I have had 2 different carbs. on it within the past 2 weeks the first one was a 650 worked good for a long time but about 2,3 it started acting up so I put a different one on it (not sure what size but probably a 600) and it worked good until yesterday and it put me on the side of the road (3rd time in 3 weeks) and when i took the breather off gas was sittin in all of the barrels got it fixed enough to where I can commute back and forth to work and home but when it's idling it sounds a little like a 6 cyl. but if I start to move it'll stutter and then take off.

I believe thats the reason that companies switched in the first place to EFI.

Well those are two pretty inexpensive items as well. My truck runs carbed with vaccuum secondaries, it works fine..

Just not the most efficient thing in the whole world.

When I win the Lottery(which I need to start playing in order to win), I will switch it to an Edelbrock EFI setup

My truck? Its a 400M(well, used to be), not a 302 but it has a 700 Holley I believe

It used to have a 650 of the same Holley series (5600 or whatever with the vac secs) and it wasnt enough carb

Edit : My bad, I thought ^ was mustangsneverdie asking me

you need, new fuel pump, fuel lines, fuel rails, fpr, injectors, intake, MAF, computer and full wire harness, all the sensors for efi and pig tails. you are looking into alot of work.
