Default Fox stiffness

I am looking to buy a 1990 lx hatch with lots of mods and engion work. My concern is no subframe connectors to withstand the tourque. The car has 160 miles on body 4000 on motor. dyno at 285 RWHP

285? I wouldn't be to worried about it. You can always add sub frames.

285 to the rear wheels and 315 RWT... What does RWT stand for?? it's highly motified and priced right.

If you think 285 to the wheels is highly modified, you must not have been around to many fast cars.

I wouldn't call 285 rwhp highly modified..more so decent for a street car and respectable, but rwt = rear wheel torque

I'm not here to debate the 285 or what is fast or slow but horsepower alone will not hurt a fox chassis. It's torque AND traction that you need to be concerned with.

I would not worry with under 300, heck I put out 502 RWHP to the ground and I do have connectors but they dont do as much as you think they do.

ummm....i think you might be underestimating sub frame connectors. sure...even with 502rwhp you wont be twisting your car in half....but if you didnt have them i bet you money your chassy wont be straight anymore after a quite a few hard launches.

and 502rwhp eh? whats your rwt? whats your build? im kind of curious as to how and what you used in your build.
